{"id":1800,"date":"2024-03-15T22:45:11","date_gmt":"2024-03-15T22:45:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/horizontesboreal.online\/?p=1800"},"modified":"2024-03-15T22:45:12","modified_gmt":"2024-03-15T22:45:12","slug":"se-realizo-con-exito-la-campana-de-deteccion-de-glaucoma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/horizontesboreal.online\/?p=1800","title":{"rendered":"SE REALIZ\u00d3 CON \u00c9XITO LA CAMPA\u00d1A DE DETECCI\u00d3N DE GLAUCOMA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>En el Hospital Oftalmol\u00f3gico \u201cProfesor Enrique Demar\u00eda\u201d se realizaron controles a la poblaci\u00f3n para la detecci\u00f3n de glaucoma en el marco de la 24\u00b0 edici\u00f3n de la Campa\u00f1a Nacional organizada todos los a\u00f1os por el Consejo Argentino de Oftalmolog\u00eda.<br>El glaucoma es una enfermedad de los ojos que consiste en una lesi\u00f3n irreversible del nervio \u00f3ptico que trae como consecuencia la p\u00e9rdida progresiva del campo visual. La causa principal es una alta presi\u00f3n intraocular, aunque tambi\u00e9n existen otros factores de riesgo como la diabetes, antecedentes familiares o hipertensi\u00f3n arterial.<br>El Dr. Almada, integrante del equipo, explic\u00f3 que \u201ces una campa\u00f1a que se realiza todos los a\u00f1os para hacer un control y diagnosticar esta patolog\u00eda. El 50% de los pacientes que lo padecen, no lo saben\u201d. \u201cAl paciente se le toma la presi\u00f3n ocular y se le hace un fondo de ojo, b\u00e1sicamente para ver el nervio \u00f3ptico y, de acuerdo a la evoluci\u00f3n, si tiene la patolog\u00eda, les indicamos que concurran nuevamente al consultorio para hacer un seguimiento. La mayor\u00eda de los pacientes son diab\u00e9ticos, hipertensos o que tienen antecedentes de esta patolog\u00eda\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<br>Con un diagn\u00f3stico oportuno y un tratamiento adecuado, la gran mayor\u00eda de los pacientes con glaucoma conservan su visi\u00f3n.
