Tambi\u00e9n estuvieron la intendente Norma Fuentes; legisladores nacionales y provinciales, funcionarios municipales y representantes de la comunidad sirio libanesa de Santiago del Estero e instituciones intermedias,<br>Luego del izamiento de las banderas, se realiz\u00f3 el descubrimiento de una placa recordatoria, la colocaci\u00f3n de ofrendas florales y la bendici\u00f3n a cargo del sacerdote de la Iglesia Ortodoxa, Gregorio Makantasis<br>En las palabras alusivas a la fecha, el presidente de la Sociedad Sirio Libanesa de Santiago del Estero, Eden Habel Sapag, hizo una breve rese\u00f1a de la lucha por la independencia y expres\u00f3 el deseo de paz para la regi\u00f3n que atraviesa momentos de tensi\u00f3n por conflictos b\u00e9licos.
