El gobernador Gerardo Zamora, acompa\u00f1ado por el jefe de Gabinete de ministros, El\u00edas Su\u00e1rez, recibi\u00f3 este mi\u00e9rcoles en Casa de Gobierno la visita de cien alumnos pertenecientes al Colegio Secundario \u201cSan Isidro Labrador\u201d de la ciudad de Forres, departamento Robles, y del Agrupamiento N\u00ba 86.123 de la localidad de Santa Mar\u00eda, departamento Capital.
El encuentro se realiz\u00f3 en el Sal\u00f3n de Acuerdos, en el marco del programa \u201cConociendo mi provincia\u201d, que permite que alumnos del interior santiague\u00f1o que cursan el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o del secundario puedan conocer lugares emblem\u00e1ticos de la ciudad Capital, Las Termas de R\u00edo Hondo y Villa La Punta, en el departamento Choya.
Durante el encuentro los docentes agradecieron \u201cpor la oportunidad que se le brinda a los j\u00f3venes para que en su \u00faltimo a\u00f1o del secundario puedan disfrutar de un viaje de estudio, compartir experiencias y pasar un d\u00eda juntos\u201d.
Por su parte, Zamora valor\u00f3 por el esfuerzo y el acompa\u00f1amiento de los docentes en esta experiencia formativa. Dijo: \u201cTenemos la obligaci\u00f3n de garantizar igualdad de oportunidades. Por eso trabajamos para que todas las escuelas tengan acceso a internet, que los estudiantes cuenten con herramientas como las tablets, tambi\u00e9n con alimentos proteicos y con los agrupamientos que permitan el acceso a la educaci\u00f3n secundaria en zonas donde antes era imposible\u201d.
Finalmente, sostuvo que el programa \u201cConociendo mi provincia\u201d lleva muchos a\u00f1os de vigencia y tiene como prop\u00f3sito \u201cque todos los alumnos del \u00faltimo a\u00f1o del secundario del interior, durante todo el ciclo lectivo, puedan visitar lugares que antes muchos j\u00f3venes ni si quiera han tenido la posibilidad de conocer y disfrutar, ya que vienen desde muy lejos. Representa un paso importante hacia la construcci\u00f3n de una sociedad m\u00e1s equitativa\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
