El gobernador Gerardo Zamora presidi\u00f3 este mi\u00e9rcoles 9 de julio el acto por el 209\u00b0 Aniversario de la Declaraci\u00f3n de la Independencia Argentina, realizado en la Plaza Libertad de la Capital.
Las actividades comenzaron con el izamiento de la Bandera Nacional, junto con el vicegobernador Carlos Silva Neder; el jefe de Gabinete, El\u00edas Su\u00e1rez; la intendente de la Capital, Norma Fuentes, y el presidente del Superior Tribunal de Justicia, Federico L\u00f3pez Alzogaray.
De la ceremonia tambi\u00e9n participaron miembros del Poder Ejecutivo, legisladores y representantes de las Fuerzas Armadas.
Ya con la presencia de la senadora Claudia de Zamora se desarroll\u00f3 el tradicional Ted\u00e9um en la Catedral Bas\u00edlica, celebrado por el arzobispo de Santiago del Estero, Vicente Bokalic, quien expres\u00f3: \u201cTenemos que tener siempre presentes a los hombres que llevaron adelante los primeros pasos de la Independencia\u00bb.
\u00abEstamos ante un mundo enfermo de ego\u00edsmo, corrupci\u00f3n y ambici\u00f3n desmedida\u00bb, agreg\u00f3. Seguidamente llam\u00f3 a \u201csolucionar los agravios a nuestro mundo, las guerras y una pobreza creciente provocada por un sistema econ\u00f3mico perverso que busca solamente el lucro\u00bb y destac\u00f3 \u00ablas problem\u00e1ticas del medio ambiente como la destrucci\u00f3n de la naturaleza, de nuestra casa\u201d.
Tras la ceremonia religiosa, se coloc\u00f3 una ofrenda floral en los bustos de Pedro Francisco de Uriarte y de Pedro Le\u00f3n Gallo. Luego, el mandatario provincial junto a la senadora y dem\u00e1s autoridades participaron de la tradicional chocolatada, para luego presidir el acto central frente al Centro Cultural del Bicentenario, donde las palabras alusivas estuvieron a cargo del profesor Guillermo Zorribas, quien realiz\u00f3 una rese\u00f1a del proceso de Declaraci\u00f3n de Independencia y expres\u00f3: \u201cEsta conmemoraci\u00f3n nos invita a asumir una mirada reflexiva sobre el pasado pero asumiendo siempre un compromiso irrenunciable con el futuro, el legado de 1.816 nos exige seguir construyendo una Argentina m\u00e1s justa, m\u00e1s soberana y profundamente federal desde Santiago del Estero renovamos hoy ese compromiso \u00a1viva la patria!\u201d.
El acto concluy\u00f3 con el desfile de instituciones educativas, fuerzas de seguridad y los ex combatientes de Malvinas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
