El jefe de Gabinete, El\u00edas Su\u00e1rez, presidi\u00f3 este mi\u00e9rcoles el acto en conmemoraci\u00f3n por el 91\u00b0 aniversario del Servicio Penitenciario Provincial y por el D\u00eda del Agente Penitenciario, que se llev\u00f3 a cabo en el Complejo N\u00b0 4 de Colonia Pinto.
Estuvo acompa\u00f1ando por la ministra de Justicia, Matilde O’Mill; el subsecretario de Justicia, Ramiro Santill\u00e1n; la directora general del Servicio Penitenciario Provincial, Mar\u00eda Rosa Coria y la presidente de la C\u00e1mara de Diputados de la provincia, Norma Abdala de Matarazzo y dem\u00e1s funcionarios de la fuerza, familiares y vecinos.
La ceremonia comenz\u00f3 con la colocaci\u00f3n de ofrendas florales en homenaje a la Virgen del Carmen, patrona del Servicio Penitenciario, a cargo del sub alcaide Cristian Guzm\u00e1n y de la sub ayudante Laura Vallejos.
Al hacer uso de la palabra, la directora del Servicio Penitenciario resalt\u00f3 el trabajo de los agentes durante este a\u00f1o. Dijo: \u201cHemos sido testigos del compromiso, la entrega y vocaci\u00f3n de servicio de quienes d\u00eda a d\u00eda desempe\u00f1an una de las tareas m\u00e1s exigentes, comprometidas y esenciales del sistema de justicia, como la labor penitenciaria\u201d.
Agradeci\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n al gobernador Gerardo Zamora y todas las autoridades provinciales por su respaldo \u201ccon pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas claras, firmes y humanas que nos impulsan a seguir trabajando con compromiso\u201d.
A su turno, la ministra de Justicia salud\u00f3 a los agentes en su d\u00eda. \u201cEst\u00e1n construyendo un servicio penitenciario distinto, es mucho m\u00e1s profesional, pero tambi\u00e9n m\u00e1s humano, m\u00e1s justo y m\u00e1s consciente de su papel dentro del entramado social\u201d, resalt\u00f3.
Agreg\u00f3: \u201cEs un rol que requiere, no solo competencias t\u00e9cnicas, sino tambi\u00e9n una formaci\u00f3n \u00e9tica y pol\u00edtica, acorde a los desaf\u00edos de la democracia que aspira a una dignidad humana\u201d.
Posteriormente las autoridades hicieron entrega de reconocimientos al personal del Servicio Penitenciario.
El acto finaliz\u00f3 con un desfile del personal del Servicio Penitenciario Provincial encabezado por la Virgen del Carmen.
Luego, el jefe de Gabinete y dem\u00e1s funcionarios recorrieron una muestra de artesan\u00edas y gastronom\u00eda que se realiz\u00f3 en el en el complejo con la participaci\u00f3n de cooperativas que trabajan con el personal de los penales de la provincia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
