El gobernador Gerardo Zamora y candidato a senador por el Frente C\u00edvico por Santiago cumpli\u00f3 con su voto este mediod\u00eda en la Escuela Parque del R\u00edo I de la ciudad Capital, oportunidad en la que destac\u00f3 la participaci\u00f3n ciudadana para defender con su voto los intereses del pa\u00eds y de Santiago del Estero en particular.
Tras emitir su voto, el referente pol\u00edtico expres\u00f3 su confianza en la participaci\u00f3n de la gente y la fluidez del nuevo sistema de votaci\u00f3n de cargos nacionales junto con el tradicional voto para cargos provinciales.
En cuanto a la voluntad de los votantes, dijo: \u201cTenemos que pensar que la elecci\u00f3n es en cada provincia, donde los representantes de cada provincia deben defender los intereses y obviamente de la patria, pero tambi\u00e9n de cada uno de sus conciudadanos y de nuestras autonom\u00edas\u201d.
En otro tramo expres\u00f3 su deseo de que pasada esta contienda electoral \u201cel pa\u00eds salga adelante\u201d.
En cuanto al resultado de las urnas, dijo que espera que esto haga replantear al Gobierno Nacional su postura y que sus autoridades \u201ctengan que pensar que no se puede gobernar a espaldas de las provincias y de la gente\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
