Bajo el lema \u201cSantiague\u00f1as que inspiran, crean y transforman\u201d, se desarroll\u00f3 este domingo el evento \u201c8M\u201d, en el Centro de Convenciones F\u00f3rum, en el marco del D\u00eda Internacional de las Mujeres Trabajadoras, organizado por el Ministerio de Justicia de la provincia, a trav\u00e9s de la Secretar\u00eda de Derechos Humanos y la Direcci\u00f3n de G\u00e9nero.
Esta actividad reuni\u00f3 a mujeres de distintos \u00e1mbitos quienes compartieron un espacio de intercambio y reflexi\u00f3n colectiva sobre la importancia de seguir construyendo una sociedad m\u00e1s equitativa promoviendo respeto, inclusi\u00f3n y la participaci\u00f3n activa de las mujeres en todos los \u00e1mbitos.
El acto oficial cont\u00f3 con la presencia del vicegobernador Carlos Silva Neder; el jefe de Gabinete de Ministros, V\u00edctor Araujo; los ministros de Justicia, Matilde O\u2019Mill; de Salud, Natividad Nassif; de Producci\u00f3n, N\u00e9stor Machado y de Desarrollo Social, \u00c1ngel Niccolai. Adem\u00e1s de la intendente de la Capital, Norma Fuentes y otros funcionarios provinciales y municipales e invitados especiales.
En ese contexto se realizaron reconocimientos a \u201cMujeres que inspiran\u201d mediante la entrega de distinciones a quienes se destacan por su labor en distintos \u00e1mbitos como en el pol\u00edtico, acad\u00e9mico, de la salud, participaci\u00f3n social y comunitaria, ciencia e innovaci\u00f3n, producci\u00f3n, deporte y la representaci\u00f3n sindical. Tambi\u00e9n se hizo un minuto de silencio por las mujeres santiague\u00f1as v\u00edctimas de la violencia patriarcal.
Durante el encuentro, la ministra O\u2019Mill invit\u00f3 a reflexionar sobre el significado de esta fecha al se\u00f1alar: \u201cEste d\u00eda no es solo de conmemoraci\u00f3n, es un llamado a la responsabilidad compartida a construir una sociedad donde el respeto y la igualdad la dignidad de las mujeres no dependan de circunstancias excepcionales, sino que formen parte de la cultura cotidiana. Honramos a las mujeres que trabajan, que cuidan, que crean, que sostienen las comunidades y que siguen abriendo caminos\u201d.
\u201cHoy no solamente recordamos una lucha hist\u00f3rica; reafirmamos una tarea del presente y una gran responsabilidad hacia el futuro, seguimos trabajando con decisi\u00f3n, con inteligencia y con compromiso colectivo para que la igualdad deje de ser una promesa pendiente y se convierta definitivamente en una realidad\u201d, agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
