El procedimiento marca un nuevo hito en la descentralizaci\u00f3n de la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica y el trabajo articulado en red dentro de la provincia.<br>El caso comenz\u00f3 en el Hospital Zonal de A\u00f1atuya, donde el paciente consult\u00f3 en el servicio de cardiolog\u00eda. Tras las primeras evaluaciones, el director del Hospital de A\u00f1atuya, Dr. Mariano Vital, detect\u00f3 un cuadro de insuficiencia card\u00edaca derecha y condujo el proceso de adquisici\u00f3n diagn\u00f3stica, arribando a una patolog\u00eda poco frecuente y de extrema gravedad: pericardiectom\u00eda por pericarditis constrictiva.<br>Para dimensionar la complejidad del cuadro, los especialistas explicaron que el pericardio \u2014una membrana fina de menos de un mil\u00edmetro que recubre el coraz\u00f3n\u2014 se hab\u00eda transformado, a ra\u00edz de un traumatismo sufrido por el joven a los 13 a\u00f1os, en una coraza r\u00edgida de m\u00e1s de un cent\u00edmetro de espesor, similar a la consistencia del cart\u00f3n. Esto inmovilizaba el m\u00fasculo card\u00edaco, impidiendo su normal llenado y expulsi\u00f3n de sangre hacia el organismo.<br>Gracias a la red zonal de derivaci\u00f3n de unidades cr\u00edticas y a la utilizaci\u00f3n de canales de comunicaci\u00f3n institucional integrados -como el sistema de coordinaci\u00f3n de terapias intensivas de la provincia- el caso fue presentado de inmediato de manera virtual.<br>El Dr. Pablo Secco, junto al equipo de la Unidad Terapia Intensiva del Hospital Independencia, recibi\u00f3 el parte m\u00e9dico, coordin\u00f3 el traslado y procedi\u00f3 a la compensaci\u00f3n hemodin\u00e1mica del paciente. \u00abEl diagn\u00f3stico inicial con el que lleg\u00f3 el paciente desde el interior fue impecable; eso permiti\u00f3 ganar un tiempo valioso\u00bb, destacaron los profesionales.<br>Superada la etapa de estabilizaci\u00f3n, se program\u00f3 la intervenci\u00f3n quir\u00fargica definitiva, ejecutada con \u00e9xito el pasado jueves por el equipo a cargo del Dr. Ernesto Fuhr Tomatis de la Unidad de Cirug\u00eda Cardiovascular del Hospital Independencia.<br>Tras una evoluci\u00f3n sumamente favorable en el postoperatorio, el joven se encuentra en condiciones de pasar a sala com\u00fan, con vistas a recibir el alta m\u00e9dica en las pr\u00f3ximas 48 horas para retornar a A\u00f1atuya, donde continuar\u00e1 su seguimiento ambulatorio junto al Dr. Vital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00e1s de 35 cirug\u00edas cardiovasculares de excelencia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este procedimiento se enmarca en un proceso de consolidaci\u00f3n de la medicina p\u00fablica en Santiago del Estero. Desde el inicio de las operaciones cardiovasculares en el Hospital Independencia -que ya cumple m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o de labor ininterrumpida- se han intervenido m\u00e1s de 35 pacientes con patolog\u00edas de alta complejidad y resultados altamente exitosos.<br>Este logro es el resultado de una decisi\u00f3n pol\u00edtica e institucional sostenida impulsada por el Ministerio de Salud, la Subsecretar\u00eda de Salud, la Direcci\u00f3n del Hospital Independencia y todo el equipo m\u00e9dico, param\u00e9dico y de salud provincial.<br>Asimismo, los especialistas resaltaron la calidad y el compromiso de los profesionales del interior, cuyos diagn\u00f3sticos precisos permiten que los pacientes lleguen a los centros de alta complejidad con una evaluaci\u00f3n previa \u00f3ptima para su
