El Ministerio de Salud de Santiago del Estero llev\u00f3 adelante una Jornada de Capacitaci\u00f3n en Prevenci\u00f3n del Alzheimer, destinada a promover la informaci\u00f3n, los h\u00e1bitos saludables y la detecci\u00f3n temprana de esta enfermedad.
La apertura estuvo a cargo del secretario de Salud, Dr. Gustavo Sabalza, quien expres\u00f3 \u201cEs fundamental fortalecer la prevenci\u00f3n y comprender que el Alzheimer no solo afecta a quien lo padece, sino tambi\u00e9n a su entorno familiar. En este sentido, es clave el trabajo articulado entre los distintos niveles y equipos del sistema de salud. Debemos poner a las personas mayores en el centro de la atenci\u00f3n, con una mirada integral que contemple sus necesidades y las de su entorno\u201d.
La capacitaci\u00f3n estuvo a cargo del Dr. Rub\u00e9n Nacul, m\u00e9dico neur\u00f3logo del Servicio de Neurolog\u00eda del Hospital Regional Dr. Ram\u00f3n Carrillo, quien abord\u00f3 la importancia de la prevenci\u00f3n y la consulta precoz ante posibles signos de deterioro cognitivo. En este sentido, remarc\u00f3 que los cambios en la memoria no deben atribuirse autom\u00e1ticamente al envejecimiento y que la detecci\u00f3n temprana permite avanzar en el diagn\u00f3stico y el abordaje terap\u00e9utico.
Participaron de la jornada el subsecretario de Desarrollo Social, Lic. Ramiro Banco; el rector de la UNSE, Lic. Marcelino Ledesma; la decana de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la UCSE, Mgter. Anal\u00eda Valentini; y la secretaria de Extensi\u00f3n de la UCSE, Mar\u00eda Rosa Barbar\u00e1n, junto a la directora general de Adultos Mayores, Luc\u00eda Wite; la Lic. Adriana Cortese, del \u00e1rea de Adultos Mayores; y el director de Salud Mental, Lic. N\u00e9stor Medina.
Tambi\u00e9n estuvieron presentes autoridades y equipos t\u00e9cnicos del Ministerio de Salud, entre ellos la directora general de Atenci\u00f3n Primaria de la Salud, Dra. Martha Tarchini; el director de Salud Comunitaria, Lic. Gonzalo Ter\u00e1n; la coordinadora del Programa SUMAR, Dra. Laura Guevel; la directora del Interior, Dra. Graciela Alzogaray; la directora de Odontolog\u00eda, Dra. Patricia Gadda; la directora de Atenci\u00f3n M\u00e9dica, Dra. Stella Arga\u00f1araz; la directora del Hospital Regional Dr. Ram\u00f3n Carrillo y la secretaria t\u00e9cnica de Enfermer\u00eda, Lic. Agustina G\u00f3mez.
La iniciativa se enmarca en las acciones de promoci\u00f3n de la salud y prevenci\u00f3n de enfermedades, con el objetivo de brindar herramientas a la comunidad para favorecer el cuidado de la salud cerebral, el envejecimiento saludable y la calidad de vida de las personas mayores y sus familias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
